There are many gifted artists living in Blue Ridge. Every year you can enjoy a wonderful experience through art festivals in the Downtown City Park of Blue Ridge. These festivals are offered both in the Spring and again in the Fall. We are also fortunate to have The Art Center, which was originally the historic Fannin County Courthouse. The property has undergone great renovations and now is an impressive Gallery of many Artists Exhibits.

The Swan Drive-In Theater is one of only five drive-in theaters still operating in Georgia. There is nothing like sitting outdoors under a star filled sky eating popcorn and watching the latest movies.

Lake Blue Ridge offers many activities in itself. The 3,290 acre lake and surrounding area offers almost 100  national forest campsites, a full-service marina, several places to load your boat and lots of options for picnics and swimming. If you enjoy fishing then you'll love this Lake. Some of the fish that inhabit  the lake are Bass, Bream, Perch, Crappie and , of course, Catfish. If your in town during 4th of July you can enjoy the annual Fireworks Show over Blue Ridge Lake.

Like most towns Blue Ridge offers many wonderful Annual Events that really brings the community together. Some events include Arts in the Park, Blue Ridge Adventure Race, Fourth of July Fireworks, Halloween Safe Zone, Kiwanis Fair and Rodeo, Light Up Blue Ridge, Labor Day BBQ, Miners Homecoming, Paws in the Park and Ramp Festival.

Noted in Southern Living Magazine as "favorite roadside Apple Market", Mercier's Orchard has been operating in Blue Ridge for over 50 years. The orchard grows 20 varieties of apples and will serve you the best fried pies and fritters you will ever eat! Some of the friuts that you can enjoy from Mercier's , other than apples, are plump blueberries and blackberries, sweet strawberries and juicy peaches. They also make the best apple cider around! Mercier's is always expanding and my favorite addition is the Restaurant. My family and I have started a tradition of eating breakfast at Merciers every Saturday morning. We know the Chef personally and enjoy the fluffy omelets and hot biscuits with "strawberry butter"that we are seved! Come on by.... you'll be glad you did!
