You'll have a difficult time choosing which Outdoor Activity you want to do simply because there are so many to choose from! Blue Ridge offers Hiking on many famous trails such as the Benton MacKaye Trail or the Appalachian Trail, or you can go Whitewater Rafting on the Ocoee River, the Official site of the 1996 Summer Olympics whitewater slalom event. There is also great Trout fishing, canoeing, bike riding , camping and so much more.


Downtown Blue Ridge has wonderful unique places to Shop. You can find quaint Boutiques, Antique Stores, "General Stores" , Adventure Wear Stores and much more. If you get hungry while doing your shopping, you will have a variety of Resturants to choose from as well! Depending on your budget, you may want a fine meal prepared by a local Chef or you may want to grab a bite at one of the many local resturants that offer "Home Cooked" meals. Let your taste buds guide you!

 

I am very proud of our School System in Fannin County! Fannin Schools are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools  and the Georgia Accreditation Commission. The system serves Fannin students through 3 Elementary Schools, 1 Middle School and 1 High School. They also offer Pre-School services through Fannin Head Start Pre-K.
